Much excite!!

Here’s a similar Mustang (Bullitt Stang) from Greenlight. My impressions from the video are that the quality looks good, and the detail is nice! Can’t wait to get it next week! ^_^

What do you all think?

Did you buy a Ecoboost Mustang?

To say I approve would be a statement from Captain Obvious. But I do think GreenLight make some fantastic castings in general. This is one I still need to add to my collection. I’ve only found the 50 Years SSP in the wild so eBay will be on my visit list to get the rest.

My absolute favorite year for the car. I love the fastback that ends at the furthest opportunity. I may catch flack from true Mustang fans for this, but I like what I like. No apologies.

There are over 50 years of Mustangs and you happen to like one of the more popular ones, so I don’t think you’d get any grief over it. Early fastbacks are the ones everyone want and while they weren’t my favorite growing up, they have grown on me exponentially. I’m still a convertible guy, but my next one will probably be a newer fastback/coupe.

Awesome! Added to my watch list for when I can afford it. Got another purchase in the works that is tying up all of my additional funds at the moment. But I will be buying this one eventually. :)

A couple of high school buds had Mustangs, and one of the motorheads from the rival high school had the 68 fastback. I was almost shunned for preferring that style over my neighbor’s 65.

Well I don’t think my group of friends would have made it at your school together. We had a 66 Mustang coupe at our house (my mom had bought it brand-new), my best friend loved Camaros and drove a Toyota pickup lowered, another friend had a 65 Mustang coupe, another friend drove a Chevy Nova SS. Ah the good old days of cheap muscle. :)

Nah, y’all would have fit right in. The rivalry between the 2 high schools was more about football, and girls. The important stuff, like whose car was faster, was settled out on route 9 where there was an agreed upon 1/4 mile stretch. Remember when driving around with your reverse lights on meant you were ready to race?

I actually grew up in Simi Valley, CA which (at least at the time) had a large police presence as it was home to not only the city police, but to a lot of CHP and Sheriff’s department personnel as well. So no street racing. But lots of cruising the parking lot of the strip mall. If you’ve seen Bachelor Party, the movie theater scene is where we cruised and went to see all of our movies after it replaced the original two screen theater. It was only a Mann 6 though, not a Mann 36. But the high number of police living there is why the Rodney King beating trial got moved to that city. :/

Sounds like a safe place to live, not so much a place to have *fun,* but safety is better most of the time.
I hate to ask again, but besides the Fatbax Mustang, am I holding anything for you, do we have a HWEP in the making? I want to clear some of these out and, yet again, update my page. But this time, by taking cars out. Thanks!

Just the Home Improvement Ford Roadster. I was going to, and did, find a Beatles Kool Kombi for you. I may have to send you a few dollars for the difference and I am sure I want the Classics VW beetle as well. The $3 carded one.

OK, I have to make sure I still have the beetle, I know one went out, it may have been a blue one. I have to dig through my boxes anyway, so I’ll look for it while I’m in there.
And THANKS for the Kombi! I didn’t mean to get so emotional over it, I’ve just had it with the kind of people who do shit like that...

Like this?

And the beetle I was looking at was the red and white one. If you don’t have it any longer, no worries

I have it. Located it last night. I spent all day at the flea market, or I’d have replied sooner.
Please tell me there’s a decimal point after those fours...OMG!

Awesome! We’ll get something worked out this week for trade/money.

And yeah, they’re $4.00, not $400. This guy is not ridiculous when it comes to prices, but I do know he tries to make occasional money on B.S. like these. He’s not a scalper that I’ve ever seen evidence of. He also has a couple of “error” cars he been trying to sell for a couple of months. I use error loosely as they’re a bit suspicious. One is a Mustang on a Camaro card. Sure, I can see how that could happen. They do look similar, but it’s also a little convenient that this was the error.

Yup, some people selling at high(er) prices aren’t really scalpers. They see what the market is doing and sdjust their prices accordingly. If he sold them for a buck, someone would buy them and put them right on the bay. Still could happen, even at $4.

Yeah I think you’re right. He’ll make a few dollars off of them and someone will get a complete set out of it. I know someone in my area scalps as a certain cast out of a series will be completely gone from every store, like the Carrera GT from the Porsche series and the Custom ‘12 Mustang from the Mustang 50 Years series. Those were likely eBayed as I only ever saw one complete set from the Mustangs, which I bought, and just a few of the Porsche series cars and still no Carrera GT. I ended up trading for the missing Porsche.
